PLA Silk Dual-Color Filament – Two-Tone Color Shift, 1.75mm, 1kg

This is the silk dual-color PLA I've had a great experience using this year; it's very shiny. I recommend a printing temperature of 210. My Teacher's Day print orders are about to be perfectly completed.

Didn't give me quite the outcome I was expecting but it was really neat how it printed. I was expecting a brighter contrast between the two tones and it ended up leaning more gold than orange, but it's still a nice looking finish.

I placed a bulk order for a dozen spools in specific dual-tone finishes, including a couple of the metallic combos, and only ten arrived. On top of that, every spool that did show up was the wrong color combination, cheap standard tones instead of what I ordered. Customer support offered a partial refund that didn't come close to covering the shortage, and it took way too many messages to get even that. Really disappointing experience for a bulk order.

This stuff is great. Prints like a dream, the dual-tone color looks fantastic, and it's surprisingly strong for a silk PLA. Almost no stringing even without much retraction tuning. Will be ordering more color combos soon.

Really cool color combination and it prints nicely on my AD5x. The dual-tone effect looks even better in person than in photos.

No complaints here. I was worried the silver combo would come out looking like plain gray, but that's not an issue at all, both tones are noticeably shiny. You pretty much know what you're going to get, and for a great price. I printed an entire tournament's worth of trophies with filament to spare.

Haven't printed a full model yet but shipping was fast and the spool was packaged very well. The two-tone color looks accurate to the listing photos and I'm optimistic it'll print just as nicely. Will update if anything changes.

Seems to be good filament. Everything I've printed with it has come out with a really nice shine, and the shipment arrived well packed with everything included.

I bought this 1kg roll primarily for decorative prints and it has a really nice appearance right out of the package. The dual-tone finish gives prints a shifting, almost metallic look depending on the light and viewing angle. The filament arrived well sealed and I didn't have any issues with popping or stringing once loaded. Printed happiest for me around 210-215C with a nice glossy result and solid layer adhesion. Great option if you want a print that looks more premium without needing multi-material hardware.

Currently have the Black and Silver combo and I'm happy with it. As with all silk filament I dried it first, then ran a quick temperature tower to dial in around 205C with slower wall speeds for a cleaner finish. Retraction needed to be a touch higher than standard PLA but nothing unusual for a silk finish. The spool itself is solid with good spacing for the holes, my only minor complaint is the printed label text can be hard to read. The dual-tone effect looks great on anything with some surface area to show it off.

Needed another spool for my AMS and this one did not disappoint. It came vacuum sealed with a desiccant pack, and after drying it loaded without any issues. The Black and Gold combo shows the two tones really nicely depending on print orientation. No adhesion problems on either plate type, bottoms came out smooth. Silk filament does leave a light shadow impression on the print bed but it doesn't affect the actual print quality. Overall a great spool.

The dual-tone finish looked exactly like the product photos and printed with a nice shiny, almost metallic result. Customer service also kept me updated on shipping the whole way.
