FAQ
Can every printer use PC filament?
No. PC needs a hotend and build plate that can safely hold high temperatures, ideally with an enclosed chamber. It's the most demanding material we stock. PC vs. ABS vs. ASA vs. PETG covers whether you actually need PC or whether ASA or PETG will do the job.
Why is a release layer recommended for PC?
PC can bond hard enough to damage the build surface when the part cools. A thin layer of compatible adhesive works as both an adhesion aid and a release layer, protecting the plate. Our bed adhesion guide covers surface prep for each plate type.
Does PC need to be dried?

Is PC suitable for transparent parts?
Some natural PC formulations look translucent, but printed parts are never optically clear without specialized printing and post-processing.
